Intelligent textiles can be applied for different functions, but they are intended to be handled in order to prevent diseases, improve hygiene and improve the comfort of garments. therefore, the thesis is called " Women underwear design from Intelligent Textiles, cosmetic and medicinal in Bogotá. D.C."
The present text evidences a research process in order to create undergarments that present benefits in the health of the woman, with intelligent textiles that manage to avoid discomfort in the genital area. It is intended to design women's underwear from intelligent fabrics, selecting fabrics and benefits in relation to customer requirements, in terms of comfort and health benefits, to avoid health and hygiene problems in the genital area.
Throughout the design process, several areas can be involved, depending on the objective of the research, in this case the points of view of different areas such as gynecology and microbiology are contrasted with the textile and fashion design.
The present study has a qualitative approach, it is tried to identify the intelligent fabrics suitable to make underwear from the criteria of professionals such as a Gynecologist, Microbiologist and Fashion Designer based on the experience of the population sample.
This research is descriptive, since we want to compare fabrics for the elaboration of underwear, since it is a scientific method that involves observing and describing the behavior of a subject without influencing him in any way.
